Sarah Core is a British ceramic artist offering pottery and clay workshops in Hertfordshire that are as focused on skill-building as they are on practising mindfulness. Sarah’s ceramic studio has been created specifically to nurture creativity, play and mindful making for pottery beginners, enthusiasts and teams looking to build peaceful rapport together.
Before
Sarah was feeling frustrated with her website - she felt that it was too difficult to navigate for customers looking to book workshops and packages, and found it difficult and time-consuming to add and advertise her workshops on the backend. The messaging was also a bit muddled, presenting Sarah as an artist who did pottery classes on the side, which was no longer the message she was trying to communicate.

Sarah’s dream was to enable a wide variety of customers, from students and retirees to corporate teams, to book her mindful pottery workshops with ease.
After
As a robust booking system was the core need for her new website, I decided to move Sarah over to WIX, which had all of the scheduling, ticketing and email automation capabilities we were looking for! I focused on creating web pages to showcase her 4 core classes before introducing the booking system - a colour-coded, filterable calendar. We also worked with an SEO specialist on keyword research, rewriting Sarah’s copy, cleaning up blogs and suggesting redirects where needed, as well as updating her branding to feel more inviting and calming.
Now Sarah has:
A rebranded website that is consistent with her mindful, supportive brand ethos
An extremely user-friendly calendar booking system that is easy for her to update
The ability for customers to book workshop ‘bundles’ and manage their upcoming workshops via individual customer accounts
Email automation to confirm booked classes along with any important information needed for the workshop
