Freelance Magic offers practical courses and resources that help freelancers create profitable businesses they love. Founded by Lizzie Davey, it’s all about transparency and building a business that's fun AND makes money, focused more on helping freelancers have an "easy" business that means they can have the lifestyle they've always dreamed of.
Before
Lizzie felt that the website was not working as well as she liked - it didn’t excite visitors, explain clearly all her offerings and didn’t help navigate them to more information clearly. After working on it and adding to it over the years, she felt it had become ‘a bit of a Frankenstein’ and lacked cohesion.
And some key goals for the day:
Bring in her recent rebranding including colours, brand fonts and graphic elements
Make the blog page showcase all the blog posts easier so readers could find a relevant blog post
Make the individual blog post page easier and more enjoyable to read
Improve the homepage to show all her offerings
The client wanted:
a space where freelancers can access all the available resources
Lizzie’s dream was for the website to act as a funnel, where people land on a blog post and then explore the resources and sign up for her email list.
After
Now the client has:
A rebranded website that is consistent with her social media and email marketing efforts
A blog gallery that shows the blog posts clearly and allows readers to filter by topic
A blog post template that makes it more enjoyable to read and encourages readers to sign up for different resources
